The Ford Special Vehicle Registry was launched in 2021, creating an official Ford connection to active enthusiasts. This allows Ford Motor Company the ability to invite certain vehicles to exclusive events or marketing opportunities such as photography, videography or special events. The registry enables Ford to provide their loyal fan base a sanctioned community of its own.

Currently, Mustang and Mustang Mach-E vehicles can be added to the registry. More vehicle models will be available in the future.

From there you will be able to select the button, “Add a Vehicle.”

When creating an account on the Ford Special Vehicle Registry, you will need to provide your basic contact information: Name, Address, email -- and to create a secure password.

When registering your vehicle, you will need your vehicle's year & VIN #. Don’t worry if you don’t know the exact details about your vehicle because the original NAVIS data that is prepared for your vehicle will correct any incorrect information.

There are some limitations on who can join the Ford Special Vehicle Registry. First off, you need to reside in the United States or be a deployed service member with a U.S.-based home address. Secondly, you must own an eligible vehicle model of the registry.

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

Go to the Ford Special Vehicle Registry login page and log in using your credentials.

Step 2: Access Your Account Homepage

After successfully logging in, you will be directed to your "Account Homepage." Look for the tab labeled "Account Personal Info."

Step 3: Navigate to "Edit Personal Info"

Under the "Account Personal Info" section, you will find an option to "Edit Personal Info." Click on this option to proceed.

Step 4: Make the Necessary Changes

You will now be on the page where you can update your personal information. Make the desired changes, such as your Name, Address, Phone, Email, Club Affiliation, and indicate if you’d like to opt out or opt in to all non-necessary email contact from the Special Vehicle Registry, including invitations to attend or display my vehicle(s) at special invite only events.

Step 5: Save Your Updates

Once you've completed making the changes, scroll to the bottom of the page. You will find a "Save" button. Click on "Save" to confirm and save your new information.

Step 6: Verify the Update

Your new information is now saved and updated on the Ford Special Vehicle Registry. You can verify the changes by reviewing your Account Personal Info Tab.

Following these six steps, you can easily update your personal account information in the Ford Special Vehicle Registry.

After updating the vehicle information, scroll down to read the terms and conditions related to these updates. Ensure that you understand and agree to them.

Step 7: Confirm and Update

To finalize the update, select the checkbox to indicate your agreement with the terms and conditions. Then, click the "Modify Vehicle" button.

Step 8: Verify the Update

Your vehicle information has now been successfully updated in the Ford Special Vehicle Registry. You can verify the changes by reviewing the details of the updated vehicle(s).

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

Step 3: Choose the Vehicle to Add Photos

Under your list of vehicles, select the specific vehicle to which you want to add photos by clicking on "Manage."

Step 4: Review and Accept Photo Terms and Conditions

On the vehicle management page, you'll find an option labeled "Add New Vehicle Photo." Before adding photos, review and accept the photo terms and conditions by checking the "I understand and agree" checkbox. Note that only images meeting these terms and conditions can be displayed in the Registry.

Step 5: Activate the "Choose Files" Button

Once you've accepted the terms and conditions, the "Choose Files" button will become active. This button allows you to select .jpg or .png photos from your computer or mobile device to add to your vehicle.

Step 6: Select and Add Images

Click on the "Choose Files" button to browse your computer or mobile device for the .jpg or .png photos you want to add. Once selected, these images will be ready for upload.

Step 7: Submit Images for Review

After selecting the images, click the "Add Image" button to submit them for review. The submitted images will undergo a review process.

Step 8: Await Approval

Once your images are approved, they will be added to your vehicle and displayed on the Ford Special Vehicle Registry. By following these eight steps, you can successfully add new photos to your vehicle in the Special Vehicle Registry.

Your Vehicle was disapproved for one of these reasons

• Non U.S. resident or overseas stationed U.S. service member.
• Ineligible Vehicle.
• Profanity in vehicle information uploaded.
• Inappropriate photo submissions.

No, the Ford Special Vehicle Registry is only available for United States residents. We are currently working on expanding to other countries. Stay Tuned!

If you sell your vehicle you will need to notify the Ford Special Vehicle Registry administration team FORDSVR@Ford.com or 800-367-3788. The team will disassociate the vehicles VIN # from your account, freeing it up for the new owner to join the registry. You can also keep track of your mileage through the Ford Special Vehicle Registry. We have odometer readings that you can change, and it will store the previous entry into your vehicles page. If you’d like to remove your Vehicle you will need to notify the Ford Special Vehicle Registry administration team at FORDSVR@Ford.com or 800-367-3788. The team will disassociate the vehicles VIN # from your account.

The Ford North American Vehicle Information System (NAVIS) contains original factory information on each Ford vehicle built. It includes the exact configuration and options of your vehicle at its time of construction. The data that is returned to you by joining the Ford Special Vehicle Registry is in the form of Body Type & “Original” such as Original Exterior Color, Original Engine, Original Transmission, and Original Interior Trim.

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

Go to the Ford Special Vehicle Registry login page and log in using your credentials.

Step 2: Access Your Account Homepage

After logging in, you'll be directed to your "Account Homepage."

Step 3: Go to the "My Vehicles" Section

Within your Account Homepage, look for the "My Vehicles" tab. Click on this tab to access your list of registered vehicles.

Step 4: Select "Vehicle Link"

In the "My Vehicles" section, you will find a link labeled "Vehicle Link" associated with your vehicle. Click on the "Vehicle Link" to proceed.

Step 5: Locate Your NAVIS Data

On your vehicle's registry page, look for any information that is labeled "original." Anything labeled "original" indicates that the data displayed is your NAVIS data.

By following these five steps, you can easily find and access your Ford NAVIS data on your vehicle's registry page in the Ford Special Vehicle Registry.

If the NAVIS data is found and there is nothing new from what you initially put into the Registry that is because you already knew everything about your vehicle that the data returns.

Once you upload a photo of your vehicle onto the Registry you have a chance to be on the Registry Spotlight. The Registry Spotlight refreshes every time you visit the homepage. Try refreshing your homepage a couple of times and see if you can find your vehicle!

Outside of the initial necessary emails, we do not contact you unless you are being invited to an exclusive Ford event. We will contact you through email or through a phone call. We do not send any physical mailings.

Step 5: Scroll Down and Opt Out

Scroll down the page until you reach the section related to opting out of non-necessary email contact. Select the checkbox next to the opt-out terms to indicate your preference.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

After checking the opt-out checkbox, click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to confirm your choice.

Step 7: Reminder

Opting out of non-necessary email contact means you may no longer receive invitations to exclusive events. If you're sure about your decision, proceed with saving your preference. You can always change this setting later by following the same steps.
